Pukulan Hadrah Sempena Maulud 1428H

Sukacita dimaklumkan bahawa penyertaan persembahan pukulan hadrah mengalu-alukan keberangkatan Tiba dan perarakan lalu Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang DiPertuan Negara Brunei Darusalam ke Sambutan Maulud Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam 1429, melibatkan sekolah-sekolah dan Maktab berikut:

Bengkel Hadrah bagi guru-guru sekolah dan maktab bagi Daerah Belait telah dan sedang diadakan pada setiap Selasa bermula:

12.2.2008 hingga 29.4. 2008
di Cawangan Jabatan Pendidikan Kokurikulum, Belait.

Saringan Pertandingan Hadrah Sekolah Menengah dan Maktab Senegara

Pada .3.3.2008 telah diadakan peringkat saringan bagi pertandingan hadrah sekolah-sekolah menengah dan maktab-maktab senegara 2008 dan keputusan pertandingan akan dipost nanti petang. Tahniah kepada Sekolah Menengah Sayyidina Hasan atas kesudian menjadi tuan rumah dan penyelenggara pertandingan tersebut.

Syabas kepada sekolah-sekolah yang telah berjaya melayakkan diri ke peringkat seterusnya, tingkatkan mutu persembahan, tidak mustahil sekolah biskita menjadi juara pada tahun ini.

Students ‘Hit It Out’ At Hadrah Competition

Bandar Seri Begawan - Twenty three hadrah groups yesterday entered the preliminary round of the 26' Hadrah Competition for Secondary Schools and Colleges at Sayyidina Hasan Secondary School in Kilanas.

Yesterday's event, organised by the Co-Curriculum Education Department of the Ministry of Education, saw 17 teams from the male category and six teams from the female category perform on stage before a panel of judges.

According to Cikgu Sukardi bin Kaderi, Co-Secretary of the organising committee, the teams were judged based on their choreography skills, synchronisation, attire, originality, quality of presentation, hitting techniques and other criteria.

The competition was aimed at developing the students' creativity through hadrah performances. Hadrah is part of the local Malay tradition and culture' and should be practised by the younger generation to preserve the Malay heritage.

Such competition will also encourage students to be more involved in positive activities while uplifting the significance of the rich traditional art form, said Cikgu Sukardi.

The final leg of the competition will be held at Sayyidina Hasan Secondary school in early May.

Kiarong Primary School Wins Hadrah Contest

Bandar Seri Begawan - Kiarong Primary School has successfully defended their title as the best Hadrah team among primary schools nationwide' when they emerged as the champion in the 31st Hadrah Competition finals at Sekolah Rendah Dato Basir recently.

During the finals, the defending champion defeated eight Hadrah teams with a total score of 88.50 per cent.

Second place went to Dato Othman Primary School with a total score of 84.88 per cent, while Dato-Basir primary school grabbed third place with 79.38 per cent.

A total of 17 schools took part in the preliminary round.

According to Cikgu Mohammad Shahrol Azmi bin Hj Abdul Muluk, teacher-in-charge, he said "It was great to be able to defend our championship this year. The success came from frequent practices held, especially during school holidays as well as examination..

On hand to present the prizes was the guest of honour Awg Hj Abdullah bin Awg Hj Metassim, Director of Administration and Services Department, Ministry of Education.

Tahniah Sekolah Rendah Kiarong -Johan SR 2007

Tahniah kepada para peserta hadrah dari Sekolah Rendah Kiarong kerana berjaya menjadi johan pertandingan hadrah antara sekolah-sekolah rendah senegara. Syabas juga kepada sekolah-sekolah rendah yang memeriahkan acara pada sabtu 3hb. November 2007 di Sekolah Rendah Dato Basir.

Terima kasih juga kepada Sekolah Tuan Rumah kerana berjaya mengendalikan acara tersebut dengan baik, lancar dan sempurna, semoga sekolah biskita menjadi contoh sekolah-sekolah yang lain untuk sama-sama aktif menyokong kesempurnaan sahsiah para pelajar.
